Congressman Danny K. Davis and Attorney Jeffery Leving to Present at Mid-West Fatherhood & Healthy Families Summer Institute

United States Congressman Danny K. Davis and Fathers’ Rights Attorney Jeffery Leving (http://dadsrights.com) will present at the Inaugural Fathers & Families Coalition of America (FFCA) Mid-West Fatherhood & Healthy Families Summer Institute, taking place at Elmhurst College located at 190 Prospect Avenue, Elmhurst, IL on June 12, 2012 from 8:00AM to 6:00PM CST.

Congressman Davis and Attorney Leving are presenters at this prestigious event focusing on strategies to improve the lives of children and promote responsible fatherhood. This Summer Institute will introduce attendees to topics including: the Role of Fathers in Child Development, Developing Culturally Appropriate Programs & Skills to Provide Services for Diverse Fathers and Families, and Working with Correctional Systems-Incarcerated and Re-Entry Fathers.

Congressman Davis represents the 7th Congressional District of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives and is currently a member of several Congressional Caucuses including the Congressional Black Caucus and the Progressive Caucus. He has remained focused on issues concerning poverty, education, youth and criminal justice reform.

Attorney Leving was named one of “America’s Best Lawyers” by Forbes Radio. He was recently honored in Resolution No. 995 by the Illinois House of Representatives for his “forward-thinking initiatives in the field of law and father’s rights” and that Leving “serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois.”
