As a Smithsonian affiliate, the Lizzadro Museum will feature a special exhibit, Geode Find, during which families can find a geode to take home. Participants will view a DVD on mining amethyst geodes in uruguay. Free admission is offered for visitors who present a Museum Day ticket, available at smithsonianmag.com/museumday.
