ELMHURST, Ill – AARP is offering a special discount to those who are currently working or have previously worked in an educational institution. During the months of July and August, current and former educators ages 55+ may take the AARP Driver Safety Program for just $5. This is an eight-hour course and those attending with clean driving records may be able to get an insurance discount upon completion. Driver Safety will be held at The Abbey, 407 W. St. Charles Road, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 18 and 19. Pre-registration is required. For more information or to reserve your space in the class please call The Abbey at (630) 993-8193.
