Elmhurst College Lowers Tuition for Adult Students in Accelerated Programs

Informational seminar on adult learning programs is next week.

Elmhurst College Board of Trustees voted to reduce the tuition rate for adult students enrolled in any of the college’s four accelerated-major programs.

Effective this fall, tuition for the accelerated-major courses in business administration, information technology, managerial communication and pre-clinical psychology will be reduced from $814 per semester hour to $559 per semester hour.

The reduction is one of many ongoing efforts by Elmhurst College to keep education affordable for students while also recognizing the growing number of adult learners (age 24 and up) seeking convenient ways to earn an undergraduate degree.

“Elmhurst College acknowledges the hardship felt by adult students in light of the current economic situation,” said Denise Jones, vice president for finance and administration.

The tuition for graduate programs will stay at the same rates the college has maintained for the last two years.
