District 205 School Board Directing Any Overflow Crowd From Tonight's Meeting to Hawthorne

Elmhurst Unit District 205 has issued this statement on its Web site: 

• "The Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled business meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the District 205 Center, 162 S. York. Please note that should there be overflow capacity at the meeting, visitors will be directed to Hawthorne School, where they can view the board meeting. Anyone who wishes to address the Board of Education must sign in prior to the meeting and be present in the District 205 Center during the public comment session."  

An overflow crowd is expected because has been told she will no longer be principal at York High School.
