Colleges Send Word of Elmhurst Students' Accomplishments

It's dean's list time; do you recognize any of these names?

Marquette University, Milwaukee, released the names of eight Elmhurst students who were named to the dean's list for the fall semester. William Sheehan is majoring in athletic training; Stephanie Japczyk, interdisciplinary international affairs; Matthew Barbato, journalism; Thomas Madden, mechanical engineering; Shannon Rohn, political science; Judith Morris, speech pathology and audiology; Kayla Spencer, undeclared; and Ruby Thompson, undeclared.

Lydia Wolfe was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn. Wolfe, the daughter of Thomas and Caroline Wolfe, is a chemistry and Spanish major.

Abigail Heisler earned highest honors and was named to the dean's list for the fall term at the University of New Hampshire, Durham.

Rebecca Heisler was named to dean's list for the fall semester at Tufts University, Medford Mass.

Emily Iverson was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Stonehill College, Easton, Mass.

Lewis University, Romeoville, announced its dean's list for the fall semester. The following Elmhurst students were honored: Matthew Wiese, aviation flight management; Emiliana Mladic, psychology; Jeffrey Grainge, aviation flight management; Audrey Heiberger, computer graphic design; Kendra Mills, computer graphic design; Kelsey Schmitt, chemistry; Marko Maksimovic, business administration; Sydni Lawler, special education and elementary education.

John Callahan was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond. Callahan is a freshman fire protection engine tech major at EKU.

Brian Spisiak is a member of the men's indoor track and field team at Carleton College, Northfield, Minn.

Eleanor Brown and Carly Hamilton were named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Drake University, Des Moines.
