Character Counts Assembly at Lincoln Draws Local Leaders and Role Models

The guest list at Lincoln School's Character Counts assembly last month read like a Who's Who of local dignitaries.

Fourteen community leaders and role models, including Mayor Steve Morley, Police Chief Michael Ruth, former District 205 Superintendent Joel Morris, York athletes, DuPage County Board members and Miss Illinois Brittney Smith, joined Lincoln students for the Character Counts/PAWS assembly.

PAWS stands for Practice kindness/Act responsibly/Welcome challenges/Show respect.
