Weekend Construction Begins on Metra Line
Work slated to begin Saturday, continue through early September.
Beginning Aug. 4, a weekend construction schedule will be in effect for Metra's Union Pacific West Line which includes the .
The work, which will continue through Sept. 9, will involve possible delays of up to 10 minutes due to track construction. In addition, select trains might also experience minor delays due to heavier passenger loading for Chicago summer events.
