Two Versions of Findzall Marketing Contract Go Before Elmhurst City Council Monday

Also, Edelweiss Market is again seeking a liquor license, and city will vote on Addison contract, three 5-K races and more.

Elmhurst aldermen will decide on Monday, July 15, whether to continue the city's contract with Findzall Marketing.

The Development, Planning and Zoning Committee discussed the contract last week, and committee members are presenting two reports to the full council. The majority report, signed by committee members Scott Levin and Mark Mulliner, recommends the city renew Findzall's contract for one calendar year. Findzall would be paid $85 an hour for eight hours a week, not to exceed 500 hours a year.

The minority report on Findzall, signed by DPZ Committee member Dannee Polomsky, allows for a five-month contract at $85 an hour, not to exceed 208 hours during that period. Findzall's performance would be monitored, and the DPZ Committee would be updated at the end of the contract term.

Both reports are requesting an increased emphasis by Findzall on business attraction and retention, as well as marketing.

Prior to the Findzall report, the city will vote on a 19-item consent agenda. In addition to approval of minutes and accounts payable, the board will be considering the following items for approval:
