State Rep. Chris Nybo (R-41st, Elmhurst) is seeking volunteer high school and college interns for the summer.

“The Legislative Intern Program provides a unique opportunity for community-minded young people to learn more about state government, public policy and legislative affairs,” Nybo said.

The internship program will be offered during the summer months, from June 5 through Sept. 1, and provides hands-on experience in office management, community relations, constituent communications, monitoring local issues, along with formulating and evaluating policy positions.
