Patty Spencer is Running for Re-election to City Clerk Position

Spencer has been Elmhurst city clerk since 2005.

Patty Spencer has announced last week that she is seeking re-election to the office of Elmhurst City Clerk in the April 9 Consolidated Election. 

Spencer has served as Elmhurst clerk since 2005. She is a member of the Illinois Municipal League, Municipal Clerks of Illinois and the Municipal Clerks of DuPage County. 

“The clerk’s office provides many valuable services to residents and other agencies," Spencer said in a prepared statement. "I ask the citizens of Elmhurst to again place their trust in me. I promise to continue serving with integrity, leadership and commitment.”

Spencer has a 25 year record of community involvement. She has served as Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Guild Council chairman, Elmhurst Hospital trustee, chairman of the Elmhurst Art Museum Associate Board and has been active in many other committees and service clubs. 

She and her husband, Byron, are also members of Elmhurst: College and Community.
