Nybo Hosts First Legislative Advisory Committee Meeting

Initial meeting drew 60 participants.

State Rep. Chris Nybo (R-41st, Elmhurst) held his first Legislative Advisory Committee meeting Feb. 21

“I am extremely happy with the level of participation from residents of the 41st District. Each member comes from a different background and I hope to tap into those differences as we deliberate, study public policy and make decisions that will impact families in the district and around the state,” he said.

The 60 members of the Legislative Advisory Committee were broken into six committees: business and economic affairs, senior citizen concerns, social and human services, education, environmental concerns and state finances and accountability.

“Everyone was eager to share their opinions with me on state government and I look forward to working with them on new legislation,” he said.

Nybo can be reached at his district office, 318 Westmore Suite A, Lombard, by calling (630) 519-3652 or by emailing chris@chrisnybo.org.
