League of Women Voters of Elmhurst Candidate Forum for the November 6 Elections

The candidates running for DuPage County Board in Districts 1 and 2 will present their views on a variety of county issues including storm water management, consolidation of services, and the status of the DuPage Airport Authority.  Written questions from the audience will also be put to the candidates by the League of Women Voters moderator.

The League will also provide information on the various referenda that will be on the ballot.  All Illinois voters will be asked to consider a proposal to ammend the Illinois Constitution with regard to public pensions.  Locally, there will be two referenda on whether public officials should be allowed to hold dual elected offices.  

The League of Women Voters of Elmhurst is a nonpartisan political organization that neither supports nor opposes political parties or candidates for public office.  Every candidate running in these races has been invited to participate in the forum.

After the event, a recording of the forum and a Voters Guide will be posted on the LWV Elmhurst website
