Elmhurst Aldermen Will Hear an Update on the Stormwater Task Force Monday

Committees also will discuss traffic around Berteau, sidewalk cafes, fuel purchase, electronic waste recycling and more.

Two of Elmhurst's standing committees will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 26, at City Hall, 209 N. York St.

The agenda for the Public Affairs and Safety Committee will include:

  • Sidewalk café discussion
  • Annie Ryan Fun Run
  • Stop sign request for First and Oak streets
  • Discussion on the Berteau neighborhood traffic control

The agenda for the Public Works and Buildings Committee will include:

  • An update on work done by the Stormwater Task Force
  • The supplemental Highway Authority agreement for 260 N. York St.
  • The Route 83 and Third Street lift station replacement project (engineering proposal)
  • Fuel contract purchase order
  • Electronic waste recycling
  • Bids for flat roof replacement at City Hall

Both meetings will include time for public comment. The Development, Planning and Zoning Committee, and the Finance, Council Affairs and Administrative Services Committee will not meet this week.
