Elmhurst Aldermen Meet in Their Committees Tonight

Here's what they will be talking about.

Elmhurst City Council members will break into their committees tonight to discuss items ranging from the annual fuel purchase to water and sewer rates. The meetings all will begin at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 209 N. York St. Here’s a rundown of what they will be talking about:

Public Works and Buildings Committee
(Aldermen Jim Kennedy, Michael Bram, Chris Healy and Pat Shea)

  • Water main improvement project
  • Annual fuel purchase agreement
  • Storm sewer extension program
  • The committee also will be looking at bids for the 2011 hydrant purchase, water meter purchase, and street light materials purchase for the Lake Street project.

Public Affairs and Safety Committee
(Aldermen Pat Wagner, Paula Pezza and Scott Levin)
