The only good news here is that hopefully she'll be too busy with her new office responsibilities to "teach" 7th grade Catholics "her" faith!
Deke November 07, 2012 at 06:33 PM
She won't have to work very hard. All she has to do is vote the way Madigan tells her to vote.

Shame on people who voted for her. Do you think she really teaches now where she claims? Her positions on abortion and homosexual "marriage" is not the teaching of the Catholic Church. Maybe you should check that school to see if she is still an active teacher, and if she is not report it here and suggest they file a lawsuit for the scandal about the school she spreads.

Agreed. It is such a sad commentary on our state that this woman is capable of being elected to public office. She has zero qualifications. Can't imagine anyone who voted for her knows anything about her or they wouldn't have voted for her. All you need is Madigan's money behind you and you can be elected in this state. Now she is completely beholden to him and, as you said, will vote whichever way he tells her. Not exactly what the founding fathers had in mind for our democracy. Our state is in shambles being held hostage by this egomaniac Madigan. What is it going to take for people to wake up????

District 46 residents you can keep track of what these people are doing in Springfield. Springfield has us deep in financial trouble. Where are they going to get the $ for public pensions. Find out what they are voting on and let them know what you think. Keep them honest, call, call, call, over and over. As for her catholic faith, she is not a real Catholic with those beliefs, make sure she is not teaching your children!

The Catholic faith doesn’t approve divorce. He is divorced. It also doesn’t approve excesses in drinking, yet he’s received a DUI. Then there’s the matter of the restraining order, still in place, to protect his ex. If you know anything about him, you wouldn’t vote for him. For those who know anything about HIM, she is a breath of fresh air.

A person supporting the butchering of the unborn children until they are dead is no breath of fresh air, but one that stinks like rotting flesh.

How is being an 'artist' a qualification to represent the 46th district? I believe ppl voted for who had the most yard signs. So a prochoice/ proabortion candidate was the choice. The PAC that paid for her campaign was the same as Duckworth. Does Mary, Queen of Heaven Catholic Church endorse her? I intend to find out. dk- Divorce can be remedied through the church, it is a personal matter; and other accussations are not entirely true. Restraining orders are easy to get.

Apparently somebody made a post and deleted it which asked us to give her a chance and respect her. She does not give the unborn a chance, and I have no respect for butchers for she supports murder of the unborn under the guise of a supposed pro-choice position. How do you respect someone who shows no respect to the least defensible of us. Wish she would look at some of the results of pro choice such as small limbs of a child torn from someone who had been a mother.

No longer will we have qualified people in office just races based on lies and negative races and who pays the most for the office - like Conroy $832,000.00 - and people like DK who just make up stuff - really do you think after accusing Kordik of everything that a DUI would not have been another piece of crap we received in the mail. Kordik should be happy that he did not get elected - to represent people like DK -

I found some of Conroy's positions abominal while her political tactics reprehensible. Would like to see a fact checker report on her. You can see some of the manipulation here: "Conroy has allowed the state Democratic Party to mail out fliers clearly distorting one vote by Kordik 20 years ago when he served on the Villa Park school board. Any candidate who engaged in a campaign as deceitful and dishonest as Conroy ran deserves no respect. Ironically, after Conroy lost her second bid for the District 205 School Board, she wrote in these pages that her opponents were "bullies." Yet her campaign against Kordik, a decent and honorable man, was characterized by pure Chicago machine-style thuggery. If you look up "hypocrite" in the dictionary you will see a picture of Deb Conroy.
