The Elmhurst City Council voted 7-5 Monday evening to postpone the debate over the city Pushcart Ordinance until April 21.

Changes to the ordinance proposed by the city council's public affairs and safety committee would require Pam Uslander, known as the "Hot Dog Lady of Elmhurst," to move her hot dog pushcart from her long standing location at the corner of York Street and the Schiller Passageway.

City Council members required additional time before voting in order to answer questions about the proposed Pushcart Ordinance changes that arose during the meeting, delaying the start of the Uslander's season opening.

Correction: We corrected our typo from late last night. The council vote was 7-5, 2 council members were absent.
