Building Code, Sewer Improvements, Electricity Aggregation and More on City Agendas Monday

All meetings begin at 7 p.m.; public is invited to speak.

All four of the standing committees of the city of Elmhurst will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24.

The Development, Planning and Zoning Committee will review the building code and continue a discussion of building design guidelines.

The Public Works and Buildings Committee will begin a discussion on sanitary system improvements. Also on the agenda is the purchase of computerized maintenance management system, and a review of bids: sewer cleaning and televising project, two Ford F150 pickups and the sewer CIPP lining project.

Finance, Council Affairs and Administrative Services Committee will review a draft report about changing the city's fiscal year and electronic agenda packets. The committee also will hear an update on electricity aggregation.

Public Affairs and Safety Committee will hear a request for a liquor license for a new restaurant, Kitchen Eatery, and for the 2013 St. Patrick's Day parade.

Committee meetings will take place at City Hall, 209 N. York St. Pubic comment will be welcome.
