Are Elmhurst Aldermen Close to Selecting a Developer for Hahn Street?

Also on the agendas Monday: sustainability, water and sewer rates, stormwater and more. Public comment is welcome.

Elmhurst aldermen Monday will continue a discussion that is leading to the selection of a developer for the Hahn Street project. Aldermen will convene as a Committee of the Whole to discuss Hahn Street at 8 p.m., but first they will meet in their standing committees.

The agendas for those meetings are as follows:

Development, Planning and Zoning (7 p.m., Room 1)

  • Continued discussion of an anti-monotony policy for single-family communities
  • Continued discussion of Elmhurst's sustainability policy and future goals
  • Review of pending items

Finance, Council Affairs and Administrative Services (6:30 p.m., Room 3)

  • Continued discussion of the water rate and sewer rate study

Public Affairs and Safety (7 p.m., Room 4)

  • Elmhurst Running Club's 4 on the 4th
  • 2014 Electronics drop-off event

Public Works and Buildings (7 p.m., Room 2)

  • Stormwater update
  • Sanitary update
  • Gladys right-of-way vacation
  • Anaerobic digester project, Baxter and Woodman Engineering Services agreement, Amendment #5
  • Continued discussion on the rear yard drain program
  • Pending items
All meetings take place at Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York St. Public comment is welcome.
