41st District Rep. will Hold First Legislative Advisory Council Meeting

Council is in place, but the public is welcome to attend Feb. 21 meeting.

State Rep. Chris Nybo (R-41st) will host the first meeting of his newly created Legislative Advisory Council Feb. 21.

“The community response to the LAC has been overwhelming,” said Nybo, of Elmhurst. “Over 60 people have applied, many more have inquired, and people are still applying even though we’ve begun selecting members. The group is now so big, that we'll have to break the LAC down into sub-committees focused on specific issues important to the district, such as helping senior services and supporting our local schools.”

Nybo's LAC meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, at Villa Park Public Library, 305 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. LAC members have been individually notified, but all 41st District residents and the press are invited to attend this open, public meeting. There will also be an opportunity for public comment at the beginning of the meeting.

For more information, contact Nybo at (630) 519-3652.
