Work Van Window Broken & Tools Taken Outside Elmhurst Hotel
The victimized van was parked outside the Extended Stay America on West Grand Avenue.
A Texas man's tools were taken out of his work van overnight Saturday.
The man's van was parked outside the Extended Stay America at 550 W. Grand Ave.
The man "found the van this morning with the front passenger side window shattered," police said.
"Taken from the vehicle were several tools, nothing with serial numbers, and the victim could not provide proof of purchase," police said. A Milwaukee power drill and a Sawzall, tools of the most significance, were estimated to be worth about $580."
