Coworkers at Elmhurst Memorial Center For Health headbutted each other Thursday morning but are expected to work things out, police said.

The two women—identified only as Maribelle of Melrose Park and Donna of Northlake—butted heads about 10:30 a.m. somewhere in the 1200 S. York St. building, police said.

"There was a work related disagreement between the two offenders where the two got into each other's faces and headbutted each other," police said. "They are mutual combatants and, in the end, the boss said they were going to handle the situation between themselves."

The Hospital cannot see that they have two employees who have caused workplace violence. Any normal employer would have immediately terminated fighters. Will they be required to take anger management classes? Will they be separated at work? "Working it out does not bode well for these two miscreants, as well as all the other employees, or patients and visitors. How is it possible that the hospital Human Resources Department is letting this go? Does this mean that that the Hospital does not have a Policy as to Workplace Violence?
