Arrests Reported for Cocaine Possession, Felony Aggravated Battery

Also, a fight breaks out at Lucky Motors.

DUI/Possession of Cocaine

Georgia Young, 59, 17W375 W. Stone, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after police pulled over her silver Ford Escort at Grand and Church at 12:03 a.m. Sept. 12. Police said she also was in possession of suspect cocaine. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Jesse Cisneros, 21, 10024 W. Palmer, Melrose Park, is being held in DuPage County Jail on $5,000 bond after police said he passed a female and grabbed her buttocks at the corner of Sherman and Holly at 8:22 p.m. Sept. 10. Cisneros allegedly fled from the scene, then turned himself in to Stone Park police. He was charged with felony aggravated battery on a public way.

Geroge Torossian, 40, 911 Medinah St., Bensenville, was arrested and charged with battery at Spring Road and the Prairie Path at 6:08 a.m. Aug. 20.

Edgar Maldonado, 55, 21W556 Lynn Road, Lombard, was arrested and charged with battery after police responded to a fight in progress at Lucky Motors, 817 N. Church, at 9:58 a.m. Sept. 7. The victim (an employee) told police Maldonado, who also is an employee, began a fight with him because he refused to clean a car. The victim said Maldonado is not his boss, and he defended himself, police said. Surveillance footage confirmed the victim's story, police said. He was released on bond.

Illegal Transportation of Alcohol

Mario Cantero, 34, 5715 S. Talman, Chicago; Heriberto Martinez, 42, 5830 Whipple, Chicago; Carlos Guerrero, 58, 4953 S. Artesian, Chicago; and Jesus Rodriguez-Ramos, 65, 1518 W. 19th, Chicago were arrested and cited for illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over their green Chevrolet Astro at Interstate 290 and North Avenue at 4:24 p.m. Sept. 9. Cantero also was cited for failure to signal.

Disorderly Conduct

Warren R. Kreitzer, 65, 1919 Chase Lane, Aurora, was charged with disorderly conduct/befouling property on the 100 block of North York Street at 3:56 p.m. Aug. 24. He was released on bond.

Mark Malchert, 55, 207 Hampshire,Elmhurst, was cited for public intoxication after he reportedly fell off of his bicycle at St. Charles and Mitchell at 2:44 p.m. Sept. 12. 

Corey Thonn, 23, 26W050 Woodlark Drive, Carol Stream, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct/public intoxication and resisting arrest after police said he was found passed out on the grass at Highview and Grantley at 4:42 a.m. Sept. 6. He was released on bond.
