Police: Woman Arrested After Pulling Gun on Her Partner

Three others arrested in connection with domestic battery, and three charged with DUI.

Aggravated Domestic Assault

Andrea M. Middleton, 24, 4310 W. North Ave. Apt. 12, Stone Park, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call after police responded to an incident on the 400 block of West Fullerton at 11:34 a.m. June 3. The victim reported her wife came in to her workplace to discuss finances due to their recent split. Middleton reportedly pulled out a gun and placed it against the victim's chest. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Domestic Battery

Anthony M. Palmieri, 33, 315 W. Kimbell Apt. 13, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at his home at 7:54 a.m. May 31. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Vincent Cozzi, 27, 664 W. Thomas St., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 5:45 p.m. June 1. The incident occurred at his home, police said, but he was located in his vehicle near St. Charles and Villa in Villa Park. He also was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Brunilda Vargas, 50, 7318 Ogden, Riverside, was arrested and charged with domestic battery on the 100 block of West Armitage at 8:38 p.m. June 1. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

DUI Arrests

Ashley Schmit, 22, 3046 Alta, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to give information after the red Subaru Outback she was driving was involved in a crash at 190 S. Prospect at 1:52 a.m. May 31. She was released on bond.

Robert Sheehan, 54, 4020 Arthur, Brookfield, was arrested and charged with DUI after police pulled over his black Chevrolet Corvette in connection with speeding at Route 83 and Riverside Drive at 1:56 a.m. June 1. He was released on bond.

Imran S. Baig, 21, 3278 Westview Drive, Northlake, was arrested and charged with DUI after his black Jeep Liberty struck a house on the 600 block of North Kenilworth on June 1. Police said he left the scene. When police located him at 7:21 a.m. June 1, he reportedly was unconscious behind the wheel. In addition to DUI, he was charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest, possession of cannabis and improper backing. He was released on bond.
