Wanted Wheaton Woman Refuses to Pay Cabbie, Gets Free Ride to Jail: Cops

A wanted Wheaton woman went to jail after she allegedly refused to pay for a cab ride.

A wanted Wheaton woman stiffed a cabbie and landed in jail on a couple warrants.

Kim Foster, 23, of 226W020 Hazel Lane was arrested about 1:15 p.m. Saturday near the corner of St. Charles Road and Arlington Avenue.

"Subsequent to (Foster) refusing to pay for a cab ride, she was arrested and transported" to the station, police said.

It turned out Foster also had a pair of warrants charging her with failing to appear in court and she was taken to the DuPage County jail, police said.
