Villa Park Man's 'Nature Walk' on Railroad Tracks Catches Him Trespassing Case: Cops

The nature walker had slurred speech and what appeared to be needle marks on his arms, police said.

A word-slurring, apparently needle-marked Villa Park man caught on the Union Pacific Railroad tracks tried explaining to the cops that he was merely on a "nature walk," police said.

The police still charged 34-year-old Elias Season of 404 Ellsworth Ave. with trespassing on a railroad right-of-way.

An officer spotted Season on the tracks about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. Season told him "he was out for a nature walk," police said.

"Season appeared to have slurred speech and marks on his arms consistent with needle usage," police said.

Medics were called in to evaluate Season, police said. He was later released on bond.
