Unhinged: Elmhurst Police Report Several Arrests for Violence

Police say a man jumped into a stranger's vehicle at St. Charles and Route 83 and beat him, and a woman yelled at ex-boss, "Give me a reason to go to jail."

Road Rage

Robert Wayne, 48, 7908 W. North Ave. Apt. 302, Elmwood Park, was arrested and charged with battery after he allegedly got out of his red Hyundai at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 7:56 p.m. Sept. 21, entered another driver's vehicle and began striking the victim in the head and mouth. The victim told police he did not know Wayne and had no idea why he was striking him. Wayne was released on bond.

Mark Fay, 49, address not given, was arrested and charged with domestic battery on the 400 block of West Alexander at 4:05 p.m. Sept. 26. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Cristian Arriaza, 18, 260 E. Butterfield Road Apt. 401, was arrested and charged with domestic battery on the 200 block of East Butterfield at 12:01 a.m. Oct. 2. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Brian Cote, 47, 150 E. Schiller Apt. 602, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call at his home at 9:17 p.m. Oct. 6. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Battery

Erica M. Johnson, 32, 532 Fay, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with battery on the 200 block of South Route 83 at 7:29 p.m. Sept. 30. She was released on bond.

Disorderly Conduct

A woman who was terminated from her job on the 300 block of West Lake Street was served a no-trespass notice after she allegedly harassed her ex-boss at 1:56 p.m. Sept. 19. After the woman was terminated, she began antagonizing the boss by touching the boss's hand repeatedly. A co-worker separated the two, but soon after, the offender barged into the office yelling at her ex-boss and saying, "I know where you live," and "Give me a reason to go to jail."
