Criminal Damage

Someone spray painted a five-point star and the word “satin” on a fence surrounding a garbage container in the 800 block of South York Road around 11:30 p.m. on July 28. Video footage shows two male exit a car and stand near the fence, police said.

The back gate to a home in the 100 block of Vallette was kicked in, causing $200 in damage, sometime during the overnight hours of July 26-27, police reported.

A resident in the 100 block of Park reported several dents on his 2005 Ford Taurus as a result of a fight the night of July 20. Police said furniture was thrown from a second-floor balcony during the fight.

Someone left an obscene note, written on the back of a gas station receipt, on a car parked in the 600 block of Hillcrest Avenue between 8 p.m. on July 26 and 6:30 a.m. on July 27. Police have no suspects.

Mathew Hartmann, 22, of the 600 block of Hillside, was charged with disorderly conduct after an officer observed Hartmann urinating in public in the 100 block of North Addison around 1:45 a.m. on July 29.
