Police found a half-filled, 24-ounce Tecate under the bench where he sat and a half-full bottle of whiskey protruding from his back pocket. He was placed in a taxi.

Property Damage Arrest
Erik Scott Delgado, 28, 458 S. Stratford, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property after an incident on the 400 block of South Stratford at 11:31 p.m. Sept. 5. After a verbal argument, which police said became physical "due to intoxication," Delgado was found to have damaged the windshield and rear window of a 1995 Oldsmobile. Medics transported two additional suspects to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital for injuries. Delgado refused medics and was taken into custody, but battery charges were not filed due to conflicting stories and multiple combatants.
