Teen Taken to DuPage County Jail After Arrest for Drug Possession

Police also make two arrests for driving under the influence of drugs.

Possession of a Controlled Substance

A 17-year-old girl was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police pulled over the vehicle in which she was riding at Butterfield and Poplar at 9:25 p.m. March 26. The girl was in possession of two prescription bottles, one of which contained 37 hydrocodone pills, police said. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

DUI-Drugs

Ariel Utterback, 26, 355 Duane St., Glen Ellyn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and driving without insurance after police pulled over her gray Buick Le Sabre for improper lane use at Route 83 and Roosevelt Road at 11:35 p.m. March 25. A passenger in the vehicle, Christopher Morgan, 26, 428 N. First St., Geneva, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released on bond.

Gabriel Vacchiano, 33, 1244 N. Ashbel, Berkeley, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs after his Pontiac Grand Prix was involved in an accident with a 51-year-old Elmhurst man at St. Charles and Cottage Hill at 7:10 p.m. March 27. He was released on bond.

Possession of Cannabis

Devon Fulton, 34, 7716 S. Bishop, Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police stopped a suspicious vehicle on the 600 block of North York at 7:53 p.m. March 22. He was released on bond.

Ayisha Iqbal, 28, 547 Gregory Apt. 2A, Glendale Heights, was arrested and cited under city ordinance with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at Berens Park, 493 Oaklawn Ave., at 8:40 p.m. March 22. She was released on bond.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Stanley Kidd, 25, 110 N. Cass Ave., Westmont, and Christopher Rudenga, 27, 17W061 Oak Lane, Bensenville, were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police got a call for a suspicious vehicle on the 600 block of West North Avenue at 5:07 p.m. March 25. They were released on bond.
