Some Had a Little Too Much Fun After the St. Patrick's Day Parade

Elmhurst police report arrests for disorderly conduct, DUI and battery.

Disorderly Conduct

Several people were arrested—two of them were also taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital—after a fight at Doc Ryans, 490 Spring Road, at 2:13 p.m. March 12. The following were charged on a city ordinance for disorderly conduct and released on I-bond: Justin Anderson, 25, 633 S. Monterey, Villa Park; Nicholas Anos, 24, 29 Hickory, Oak Brook; and Wesley Anderson, 22, and Kenneth Anderson, 26, of 633 S. Monterey, Elmhurst. Reports did not indicate which offenders were taken to the hospital.

Michael Motyka, 52, 27W750 Swan Lake Drive, Wheaton, was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital after he was found at 126 W. Vallette in an incoherent state at 3:37 p.m. March 12. His black Jaguar was towed due to his condition. Motyka was charged with public intoxication and unauthorized parking in a handicap space.

Liam S. Butler-Green, 32, 2867 Breman St., Milwaukee, Wisc., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting arrest after an incident at Doc Ryan’s, 490 S. Spring Road, at 1:36 a.m. March 13. While monitoring the closing of Doc Ryan’s, officers saw Butler cause a scene by trying to get inside the closed bar. They told Butler to be quiet or he will be arrested, so Butler then began yelling at the officers and refused to give them his ID. While attempting to put Butler in custody, he resisted and was taken to the ground. He was released on I-bond.

Battery Arrest

Daniel E. Clancy, 25, 238 E. Van Buren, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with battery after he allegedly punched someone in the face, causing the victim’s nose to break, at Spring Inn, 490 S. Spring Road, at 6:47 p.m. March 12. Another suspect also allegedly punched the man, but he was not located on the scene. Clancy was released on I-bond.

Public Intoxication

William D. Liner, 33, 3518 N. Oketo Ave., Chicago, was charged with public intoxication and illegally parking in a handicap space after police saw him passed out in the Pioneer Park parking lot, at Mitchell and Prairie Path Lane, at 12:10 a.m. March 13. He was released at the scene to his girlfriend.

DUI Arrests

Margaret Allison, 42, 272 Oaklawn, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 5:24 p.m. March 12 after a traffic stop for disobeying a traffic control signal at First and York streets. She was released on I-bond.

Maura T. Kinsella, 41, 197 W. Armitage #203, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after her vehicle was stopped during a roadside check at St. Charles Road and Berkley Avenue at 11:45 p.m. March 12. She was released on I-bond.

Ryan K. Schweiger, 28, 369 Sandra Court, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving without insurance after his vehicle was stopped during a roadside check at St. Charles and Berkley at 1:53 a.m. March 13. He was released on bond.

Jared W. Garza, 32, 321 Green St., Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI after his vehicle was stopped at a roadside check at St. Charles and Berkley at 1:45 a.m. March 13. He was released on I-bond.

Nathan R. Parks, 21, 43W725 Clover Court, St. Charles, was arrested and charged with DUI after a roadside check at 355 W. St. Charles Road at 3:25 a.m. March 13. He was released on I-bond.

Javier Baez, 22, 109 E. St. Charles Road #2, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with speeding, obstructed view, driving with a revoked license, driving without insurance and DUI after a traffic stop at 252 N. Addison St. at 6:35 a.m. March 13. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Ambulance Assist

Police responded to a call for a man who was running, wearing only his underwear, at 5:44 p.m. March 12. Police did not release the location. The man told police he had just smoked drugs and ate marijuana brownies. He was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital.

Retail Theft Arrest

Employees at Jewel, 944 S. York Road, saw a man leave the store with several items tucked under his arm at 12:27 a.m. March 13. They took down the license number of the vehicle he got into as it left the scene. Police contacted the registered owner, who agreed to return the items to the store. They included Moose Tracks ice cream and a frozen sesame chicken dinner.
