Smell Backs Up Claim That Student Urinated on a Girl's Backpack
Mom and her daughter go to police to let them know another student befouled her backpack.
The mother of a student went to police after she found out another student may have urinated on her daughter's backpack on May 23.
The girl told police that while she was at a study session at Elmhurst Public Library, her friends kept asking her about her backpack and if it smelled like urine. The victim had heard that another student had urinated on it, but at first, she didn't think it smelled like urine.
She posted on Facebook that no one urinated on her backpack. Another student responded to her that he "drenched your backpack … trust me, there was urine all over." She told police she smelled it again and that time she did notice the smell of urine. Police are investigating.
