'Slightly' Drunk Man Gets Ride Home From Elmhurst Cops After Falling Off Train: Police
The man was only "slightly intoxicated," police said.
The Elmhurst cops gave a lift to a "slightly" drunk man who fell off a train and cut his head, police said.
The man tumbled from the train about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday at the West First Street Metra station.
The man "had fallen out of the train car onto the platform causing a cut to his head," police said.
The man was "slightly intoxicated and signed a refusal by the medics," police said. "He was subsequently transported to his residence by" an officer.
