Rich People Problems—Cops Called For Man Fighting With Family's Former Nanny Over Last Paycheck: Police

The nanny had quit and stopped by to get her last check, police said.

The Elmhurst police said they were called in when a local man got in a squabble with his family's former nanny.

Officers headed over to the man's South York Road home shortly before 10:30 p.m. Thursday for a "possible domestic" situation, police said.

The man of the house told the officers a woman involved in the incident was "his kid's nanny and recently quit," police said.

"She came to the house to pick up her last check and an argument ensued over the amount of the check," police said. The nanny "then followed the man into the house and continued arguing."

The man told police "he then put his hands on (the nanny) and told her she needed to leave," police said. "She then walked out to her car."

The Elmhurst police said the matter remains under investigation.
