Police Use Taser to Take Down Man with a Knife

Elmhurst resident faces assault, domestic battery charges.

A resident of Huntington Lane in Elmhurst was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery after he was seen wielding a knife on Friday.

An Elmhurst officer entered the home at 314 Huntington Lane at 7:08 a.m. Oct. 5 after he heard screaming and yelling from inside the residence, according to the police report. Once inside, he saw Luis Carrasco, 41, holding a knife and attempting to stab another person in the home. He also reportedly pushed another victim in the home.

The officer deployed his taser to subdue Carrasco who, according to the report, was "highly intoxicated."

He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

I have to disagree with Roberto!...There is NO excuse to mistreat the ones you're supposed to love!!!....This is a very sick man, who seriously needs some mental health help and possibly rehab! Anyone who throws his mother to the floor and attempts to stab his own sister is SICK!...Not to mention he's known woman beater, whom has over 15 kids, that he does NOT take care of because he is too busy beating on woman and making more kids, that he won't ever support....If that's what you call a "good man" you need your head examined as well!...And Roberto "Bobby", from what I remember when you were 14yrs old, he used to BEAT YOU TOO! So I guess he beat you into being a good man huh? What a joke!

I know Luis and Roberto, they are both good men. Luis has had a hard life and does need help. Which he is getting and I will support him and continue to help. I know his mom and his sister and they both say it did not happen the way the police are saying it went down. He is definitely paying for all of his mistakes and will continue too pay for them. I do know he loves all of his children and regrets a lot of shit. He is really trying to make things right with everyone. He knows he has done wrong to women and has paid for that, and is SORRY. He is getting the help he needs and has been doing much better with the help. Once he gets the help he needs, maybe he can be HAPPY for once. His mother said that it's all lies and that he never touched her.

LMFAO! What a JOKE! So everyone who has had a hard fk'n life, should be ALLOWED to mistreat human beings?!?! Sounds like you are in denial and possibly (one of his victims) that he mistreats too, huh? A person like him DOES NOT have a heart, especially when he has done ABSOLUTELY nothing for most his tribe of children, that he keeps making! Wake up and smell the coffee!....ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THEN WORDS! And his actions (and rap sheet) are clearly speaking "SCUMBAG" all over the place!
