Ready for Some Drunk Dialing

An intoxicated man tricks a sales clerk and manages to get away with two expensive phones, police said.

A man police say was intoxicated on Monday tricked a sales clerk into showing him some phones at the AT&T store, 291 N. York St., before he selected two and ran out the door without paying for them.

The man, described as white, about 38-43 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 175 pounds and wearing a black hat, gray hoodie and jeans, walked into the store at 2:34 p.m. Jan. 13 and told an employee he was looking to add more phones to his business. The employee took him around the store to show him several different phones. 

When they got to the display nearest the door, the suspect grabbed a Samsung Galaxy S4 worth $595 and a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 worth $725 and ran out the door, triggering the alarm. He managed to get away.
