Police Report Arrests for Prostitution, Drugs, DUI and Domestic Battery

Arrests reported March 18-27.

Prostitution Arrests

Monica Marquez, 29, 2425 E. Riverside, Austin, Texas, was arrested and charged with prostitution at 6 p.m. March 18 after she answered an online ad and agreed to come to the Waverton Hotel, 624 N. York Road, to perform a sex act for money. She was released on bond. Police said Marquez allegedly splits her profits with Erica Franklin, 25, 11117 Bending Bow Trail, Austin. Franklin was charged with pandering and keeping a place of prostitution. She was released on I-bond.

Domestic Battery

Sean M. Christian, 24, 547 N. Myrtle, was arrested and charged with domestic battery after he reportedly was seen choking and pushing a female near an alley at York and Schiller streets at 12:20 a.m. March 18. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Allante Haynes, 18, 441 Avery, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at his home at 4:24 p.m. March 18. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Drug Arrests

Joseph D. Durham, 29, 580 Lawrence #114, Roselle, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop at Interstate 290 and Route 83 at 8:09 p.m. March 24. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a foil packet that contained suspect cocaine. Durham was taken to DuPage County Jail.

David Branly, 27, 10919 Roosevelt Road, Westchester, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for driving 75 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone at St. Charles and Route 83 at 7:56 p.m. March 25. A search of the vehicle revealed a smoking pipe and a baggie of suspect cannabis near the front passenger seat. He was released on I-bond.

Tiffany J. Campbell, 28, 18W55 Lorraine Ave., Villa Park, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, driving with suspended registration for non-insurance, driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 2:13 a.m. March 27 at York and May streets. Police found cannabis in her purse. She was released on bond.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Anthony Vargas, 46, P.O. Box 176, Hines, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found him sleeping in his vehicle at 1:48 a.m. March 27 at 671 W. North Ave. He was released on bond.

DUI Arrests

David M. Martin, 31, 109 Cedarbrook Road, Naperville, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Butterfield Road between Prospect and Saylor avenues at 1:35 a.m. March 24. He was released on I-bond.

Laura L. La Mantia, 47, 49 N. Park Ave. #502, Lombard, was arrested and charged with DUI after a traffic stop at St. Charles and Spring roads at 11:38 p.m. March 25. She was released on bond.

Calvin L. Johnson, 47, 740 Gettysburg Drive #2E, Bourbonnais, was arrested and charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop at Roosevelt Road and Route 83 at 2:27 a.m. March 26. He was released on bond.

Veronica Diego, 25, 930 W. Irving Park Road #1J, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving without a license and driving without insurance after she crashed her Dodge Durango in a rollover accident at Route 83 and Lake Street at 7:18 p.m. March 26. She was released on bond.
