Police Report Arrests for Drugs

Arrests listed are through Dec. 22.

Kevin J. Thompson, 22, 16056 S. Legion, Plainfield, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found him sleeping inside his vehicle at 218 E. Butterfield Road at 12 a.m. Dec. 17. After waking him up, officers saw a multi-colored glass smoking pipe on the center console. They were informed he had an active warrant out of Montgomery for assault with a deadly weapon, obstruction and failure to appear. He was picked up by Montgomery police after he was charged in Elmhurst.

Adrian M. Garcia, 24, 330 E. Hirsch Ave., Northlake, was arrested and charged with improper lane use, no seat belt, possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of drugs after a traffic stop at Grand Avenue and Weigel Road at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 17. Officers reportedly found a baggie with white powder in his front pocket. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Bonnie E. Anderson, 23, 462 Berkley Ave., was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police found heroin during a traffic stop for speeding at Lake Street and Grand Avenue at 9:11 p.m. Dec. 19. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Araseliz DeJesus, 30, 1807 N. Washtenaw, Chicago, and Velola Keys, 38, 7515 Country Lane, Darien, were arrested and charged with possession of cannabis after police received a report of s suspicious vehicle at 574 W. Second St. at 4:34 p.m. Dec. 20. Both were released on I-bond.

David J. Grochowski, 19, 647 Van Auken St., and Paul M. Guziewski, 19, 15W735 Lexington St., were arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers saw them smoking a pipe in the parking lot at 390 W. Gladys near Berens Park at 10:22 p.m. Dec. 22. They were released on I-bond.
