Police Blotter: Underage Drinkers and DUI Drivers

Underage Drinking
Brendan J. Gallagher, 20, of the 100 block of Quincy Street, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after police responded to a report of a suspicious person pounding on doors and windows of a home in the 100 block of North Michigan around 4 a.m. Officers located Gallagher, who smelled of alcohol and gave fake birth date, police said. He was released on an I-Bond to his father.
Dillon Schea, 20, of Villa Park, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after the vehicle was riding in was stopped near St. Charles Road and Villa around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 22. The driver, Mae K. Fitzpatrick, 21, of Lombard, was cited for failing to dim head lights. Both were released with I-Bonds.

Michelle Figge, 20, of Villa Park, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after police stopped the car she was riding in because officers saw her vomiting out of the passenger side around 3 a.m. on Dec. 22. She told officers she had been drinking at a bar in Chicago. She was released on an I-Bond.
DUI

Phillip Dalbis, 27, of the 300 block of East Church, was charged with speeding, disobeying a traffic signal and two counts of drunken driving after a traffic stop at North and Maple just before 1 a.m. on Dec. 22. He was released after posting $300 bond.
Traffic Offenses
Altagracia Chavez, 33, of Carol Stream, was charged with driving without a valid drivers license and no insurance after police stopped Chavez near York Road and Grand Avenue around 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 23. She was released on an I-Bond.
Sarunas Griganavicius, 57, of the 100 block of North Willow, was charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance and violating a railroad crossing after a traffic stop just before 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 at York Road and the tracks. He also was found to be wanted on a DuPage County warrant. He was released after posting cash bond on the warrant.
