Police Blotter: Traffic Offenses and Other Mischief

Incidents reported by the Elmhurst Police Department

Unlawful Use of Handicap Placard
Dorene T. Motyka, 58, 100 W. Golfview, Northlake, was issued a citation for unlawful use of a disability placard and for leaving her vehicle unattended after police received a report of a child in the driver seat unattended with the car running in a handicap spot at CVS Pharmacy, 110 W. North Ave., at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 4.

Disordely Conduct
Jose Valentino, 24, 1001 Marshall, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct/public intoxication at AT&T, 291 N. York, at 6:48 a.m. Dec. 1.

Matthew G. Lanoue, 40, 582 Crockett, Elmhurst, and Michael P. Lanoue, 38, 1511 E. Merrick Drive, Deltona, Fla., were cited for public urination after police said they were seen urinating on a vehicle that was parked in a lot at the police station, 125 E. First Ave., at 1:01 a.m. Dec. 4. They were released at the scene.

Illegal Transportation of Alcohol/Curfew
Travis J. Howard, 23, 125 S. 15th Ave., Maywood, was arrested and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over the black Buick Century he was riding in for a cracked windshield at North and Addison at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 4. He was released at the scene. Another passenger in the vehicle was cited for curfew violation and possession of tobacco. He was released to his mother.

Driving with a Suspended License
Eduardo Reyes, 32, 120 E. George Apt. 108, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his orange Dodge Neon for no headlights at Grand and Lake Street at 7:25 p.m. Nov. 29. He was released on bond.

Gabreiel Valentine, 27, 5258 W. North Ave. Apt. 2, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his blue Pontiac Grand Prix at North and West avenues at 8:29 a.m. Nov. 30. Valentine was released on bond.

Victor H. Ramirez-Manjuan, 38, 1500 Morris Ave., Berkeley, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his Ford F250 for disobeying a red light at Route 83 and Riverside Drive at 5:54 a.m. Dec. 3. He was released on bond.

Angel Montiel, 38, 2714 W. 43rd St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his tan GMC Safari for no plate light at Interstate 290 and North Avenue at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 5. He was released on bond.


Driving Without a License
Francisco Rom Garcia-Funes, 39, 121 Bridget Court Apt. 1A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his silver Toyota Camry for improper lane use at Grand and Church at 12:20 a.m. Dec. 5. He was released on bond.

Fernando Valencia, 26, 515 N. Ninth, Maywood, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black Nissan Maxima for no seat belt at North and Emroy at 9:15 p.m. Dec. 5. He was released on bond.

Jose Velazquez, 39, 1325 Ridgeland, Berwyn, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his red Ford Ranger for disobeying a traffic control device at North and Glade at 4:17 p.m. Dec. 6. He was released on I-bond.
