Police Blotter: License Violations for October
Arrests include charges of driving with revoked and suspended licenses, and driving without a license.
Driving With a Revoked License
Gregoria Reyes, 49, 1008 Argyle Apt. 11, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police stopped her blue Buick Rainier at Route 83 and Second Street at 1:12 a.m. Oct. 2, after identifying her due to prior arrests. Reyes was released on bond.
Jose Rodriguez, 52, 642 Citadel Drive, Westmont, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his tan Chevrolet Blazer for improper turn at Ferndale and North Avenue at 5:36 a.m. Oct. 8. He was relased on bond and his vehicle towed for forfeiture.
Ricardo Sanchez, 35, 2008 W. Algonquin Road, Mt. Prospect, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license and illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over his green Ford Expedition for speeding at North and York at 4:16 a.m. Oct. 23. He was released on bond.
Jose Venegas, 41, 2409 S. 56th, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his black Ford Crown Victoria for improper lane use at 100 Drury Lane at 4:34 a.m. Oct. 25. He was released on bond.
Jeffrey A. Garcia, 32, 1603 Windsor Court Apt. 1G, West Chicago, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Ford Explorer for expired registration at Elm Park and Hagans at 3:54 a.m. Oct. 26. It was the third time he was arrested for driving on a revoked license, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office website. Garcia also allegedly gave police a false name and date of birth. Police discovered his license had been revoked and he had a warrant for failure to appear on a driving with a revoked license charge. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Driving With a Suspended License
David M. Skinner, 46, 6124 Allan Drive, Woodridge, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red Dodge Durango for expired registration at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 7:19 p.m. Oct. 2. He was released on I-bond.
James M. Gussy, 50, 9702 Pacific Ave., Franklin Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after his vehicle was involved in a three-car accident with an 80-year-old Franklin Park woman and a 49-year-old Bloomingdale man at 12 a.m. Oct. 3. Gussy also was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on I-bond.
Michael L. Johnston, 31, 402 N. Douglas, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his Volkswagon Jetta for expired registration at St. Charles Road and Route 83 at 5:23 a.m. Oct. 4. He was released on bond.
Alonzo Turner, 41, 2523 S. Central Apt. 2, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his beige Cadillac DeVille for expired registration at North and Melrose at 12:49 a.m. Oct. 5. He was released on bond.
Hasan Aliyar, 41, 1089 Prescott, Roselle, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over a red Mazda 6 for suspended registration at Grand and Lake at 12:53 a.m. Oct. 7. Aliyar was released on I-bond.
Kathy R. Johnson, 44, 459 Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her white Chevrolet Blazer for violating a traffic sign at North and Glade at 5:37 p.m. Oct. 10. She was released on I-bond.
Mark Murray, 21, 408 49th Ave., Bellwood, was arrested and charged wtih driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red Nissan Altima for making an illegal turn at 160 N. Palmer at 8:31 p.m. Oct. 10. He was released on bond.
Matheus Borges, 18, 202 44th St., Northlake, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Ford Focus for disobeying a traffic control device at St. Charles and Spring Road at 12:14 a.m. Oct. 12. He was released on I-bond.
Sheree Washington, 23, 1090 64th, LaGrange Highlands, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her black Pontiac Grand Prix for no plate light at Lake and Emroy at 2:47 a.m. Oct. 13. She was released on I-bond.
Karl White, 26, 7953 S. Langley Apt. 1W, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled him over for speeding at North and Berteau at 1:54 a.m. Oct. 14. He was released on I-bond.
Julio A. Rubio, 36, 13807 S. Kendall Drive, Plainfield, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black Lincoln Navigator for disobeying a traffic control device at Lake Street and Interstate 290 at 8:58 a.m. Oct. 15. He was released on I-bond.
Adan Salgado, 29, 224 Malibu Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his black Dodge Ram for disobeying a traffic control signal and no seat belt at North Avenue and Route 83 at 10:09 a.m. Oct. 16. Salgado was released on I-bond.
Jernetta R. Williams, 25, 5740 W. Hawthorne, Berkley, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police found a disabled Pontiac Grand Am at St. Charles and Route 83 at 7:12 p.m. Oct. 18. Williams was released on I-bond.
Joseph Conway, 32, 152 N. Lincolnway, North Aurora, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his white Mazda Protege for driving on the shoulder and disobeying a traffic control device at North Avenue and Route 83 at 8:57 a.m. Oct. 24.
Shianna A. Haynes, 29, 280 S. Main Place, Carol Stream, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over her gold Hyundai Accent for suspended registration at North and Villa at 10:18 p.m. Oct. 26. She also was cited for failure to secure a child. She was released on bond.
Armando Guerrero, 32, 146 N. 20th Ave. Apt. 1, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, obstructing identification, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to secure a child after police pulled over his black Pontiac Grand Am for speeding and improper lane use at Berteau and North at 12:10 a.m. Oct. 27. He was released on bond.
Marcus Cooks, 43, 914 Marengo Ave. Apt. 1, Forest Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his Chrysler Sebring for improper lane use, disobeying a traffic control device and speeding at North and Melrose at 1:32 a.m. Oct. 27. He was released on bond and his vehicle held for forfeiture.
Driving Without a License
Michelle Terrazas, 20, 133 N. 17th Ave., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her yellow Toyota MR2 for speeding at 150 Schiller at 3:06 p.m. Oct. 8. She was released on I-bond.
Ana Camberos, 38, 1653 N. Mannheim Road Apt. B, Stone Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her silver Buick Rendezvous for disobeying a traffic control device at Palmer and Marion at 3:48 p.m. Oct. 8. She was released on I-bond.
Isaias A. Gomez-Vasquez, 23, 1008 Argyle St. Apt. 2B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over a tan Honda Civic for disobeying a traffic control device at Route 83 and North Avenue at 5:52 p.m. Oct. 9. Gomez-Vasquez was released on I-bond.
Mirtha E. Ariza, 25, 3523 W. 63rd St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her silver Chevrolet Cavalier for speeding at North and Willow at 8:58 a.m. Oct. 12. She was released on bond.
Robert Straus, 24, 11 S. Wille St. Apt. 109, Mount Prospect, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident after his silver Toyota Corolla was involved in an accident with a 30-year-old Elmhurst man at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 16.
Mauricio Toma Garcia, 21, 1021 Ferrari Apt. 1B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red Honda Civic for failure to yield from a private driveway and improper lane use at Grand and York at 1:21 a.m. Oct. 18. He was released on I-bond.
Benedicto Perez, 37, 104 E. Pine, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Pontiac Grand Am because a part was hanging off the vehicle on the 600 block of East Grand Avenue at 4:18 p.m. Oct. 19.
Jamea Herrera, 21, 600 S. York Road Apt. 1A, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her red Pontiac Sunfire for a loud muffler at Cayuga and York at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 21. She was released on bond.
Jaime Ramirez, 29, 1041 Ferrari Drive Apt. 2B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after Ramirez's black Hyundai Santa Fe was involved in an accident with a 48-year-old Bensenville woman at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 8:46 a.m. Oct. 24. Ramirez, who also was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, was released on bond.
Juan A. Torres-Gonzalez, 28, 2280 Hassel Road Apt. 108, Hoffman Estates, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his gray Toyota Scion for tinted windows at York and Lake streets at 8:38 a.m. Oct. 26. He was released on bond.
