Police Blotter: Drinking, Drugs and Disorderly Conduct

Underage Drinking

Mario Mondragon, 18, of Bensenville, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after his vehicle was stopped for not having headlight operating near York Road and Wrightwood just before 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 27. Mondragon was released on an I-Bond.

Daniel Corso, 19, 100 block of East Schiller, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after arriving at the Elmhurst Police Department around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 to bond out a prisoner. While at the department, Corso was found to be “consuming alcohol,” police said. He was released on an I-Bond.

Drugs

Peter Tukiendorf, 28, of Lombard, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful walking on a roadway and with being a pedestrian under the influence after police stopped him near North Avenue and Route 83 around 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 23. Police reported finding heroin in Tukiendorf’s pocket, as well as marijuana, a pipe and other drug items. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Eamon Hennen, 24, of Evanston, was charged with possession of marijuana after police stopped his vehicle just after 9 p.m. on Nov. 24 at North Avenue and York Road. Hennen was released on an I-Bond.

Alejandro Espana, 20, of Melrose Park, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop around 8 p.m. on Nov. 25 near North Avenue and Clinton. He was also charged with speeding and driving without insurance before being released on an I-Bond.

Two 17-year-olds were charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found them in a vehicle parked behind a video store at St. Charles Road and Route 83 just before 10 p.m. on Nov. 25. Both were released to their parents.

Disorderly Conduct

Two men were charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after police were called to Route 83 and St. Charles Road around 9 p.m. on Nov. 26 on a report of a man vomiting blood. Police found Robert Schnable, 51, of Wheaton and Christopher Kupka, 56, of Wheaton, at the intersection. Schnable reportedly urinated on himself while talking to paramedics, while Kupka had trouble standing on his own and told police he drank a “large amount” of rum, police said. Both were taken to the hospital.

Police were called to the old Elmhurst Hospital site in the 200 block of North Berteau on a report of a woman refusing to leave after she had been discharged. The woman, who reportedly kept asking to stay one more night, later left the scene when a cab was called. She was not charged, but was given a no trespass order.
