Police Blotter: Domestic Battery and Retail Theft Arrests Reported

From the June 14 Elmhurst police report.

THURSDAY, JUNE 14

Domestic Battery

Jomo K. Bettis, 36, 690 N. West Ave. Apt. 2, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 1:11 a.m. June 14. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Retail Theft Arrest

Pamela Johnson, 43, 56 N. Laramie Apt. 2B, Chicago, was arrested and charged with felony retail theft after she took two packages of Dove soap and a pack of towels worth $22.57 from CVS Pharmacy, 110 W. North Ave., at 12:50 p.m. June 14. Johnson is on parole for retail theft. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Bicycle Stolen at York

Someone took an unlocked, green Avigo Revolution bicycle from the railing near door No. 7 at York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road, at 12:30 p.m. June 14. The owner of the bike, which is worth $125, was attending a summer football camp at the school.
