Police Blotter: Arrests for Cocaine, Disorderly Conduct and Hit and Run Reported June 15-18

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Christopher Kile, 40, 2138 Stirrup, Wheaton, and a passenger in his vehicle, Tracey Pemble, 45, 904  Lynwood, Shorewood, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police pulled over his Chevrolet Avalanche for no plate light at Roosevelt and York roads at 8:52 p.m. June 15. Police said they were in possession of crack cocaine and a glass crack pipe. They were taken to DuPage County Jail.

Ricardo Arnold, 53, 4128 N. Clarendon Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after police pulled over his white Nissan Maxima for no rear plate light at York and Third streets at 12:49 a.m. June 16. Police said Arnold was in possession of .3 grams of cocaine. He was taken to DuPage County Jail. A passenger in his car, Robert Sutherland, 25, 1510 W. Greenleaf, Chicago was arrested and charged with possession of 1.6 grams of cannabis and released on bond.

Needle Found Downtown

A used hypodermic needle, the bottom of a Coke can with burnt residue and two alcohol wipes were found in the alley behind 150 N. York Road at 9:05 a.m. June 18

Disorderly Conduct

Cory DeRosa, 23, 820 Foxworth, Lombard, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after police said he was told twice to leave the 100 block of South York at 1:45 a.m. June 16. Police said he was wrestling with two other people. They began swearing. DeRosa stood between officers and the other two suspects and told police they were doing nothing wrong and that the officers should leave. DeRosa failed to leave the area and was taken into custody. He was released to his mother. Later the same night, at 2:07 a.m., the two suspects involved in the first incident, Dan Legere, 22, 372 Park View, Elmhurst, and Michael Pearl, 23, 474 Highview, Elmhurst, were also arrested for disorderly conduct after police said they were seen throwing chairs from the sidewalk into the street on the 100 block of North York. They were released on bond.

David E. Little, 48, 948 S. Prospect Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct/public intoxication after police responded to a report of an intoxicated man at 895 S. Spring Road at 1:58 p.m. June 16. He was taken to the hospital due to his intoxicated state, police said.

Hit and Run

Evan J. Fendley, 20, 201 Geneva, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with failure to report a crash, failure to give information and injury to city property after his silver Nissan Altima hit a light pole at 400 S. Poplar at 12:45 a.m. June 16. Police said they found his license plate at the scene. He was released on I-bond.

Kristine Kedzior, 61, 364 S. Hawthorne, Elmhurst, was charged with failure to give information after an accident and failure to report an accident after her Saturn Ion was involved in an accident with a 25-year-old Westmont woman at 410 S. Hawthorne at 7:56 a.m. June 18. She also was cited for improper passing and released on I-bond.
