UPDATE: Robert Tribbitt Has Been Found

He has been reunited with his family, police said.

UPDATE 11 a.m. Friday, July 5: Addison police issued a press release at about 10:45 a.m. stating that Robert Tribbitt was found safe at 10 a.m.

"Robert Tribbitt was found around 10 this morning by the Northlake Police Department," according to the release. "He is safe and has been reunited with his family."

Addison police are asking for the public's help to find a missing person who is suffering from dementia.

Robert Tribbitt Sr., 79, was last seen around 4 p.m. Thursday near Villa Ave and Lake Street in Addison. He was on foot.

Tribbitt was wearing a red plaid shirt with blue jeans and black shoes. He is five feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and gray hair on the sides.  He was wearing wire-framed glasses.

Tribbitt was staying at a local hotel in Addison and was visiting with a church group from Kansas City, Mo.  His destination is unknown.

Anyone who sees Mr. Tribbitt or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Addison Police Department at (630) 543-3080, or call 911.
