Police Arrest Three Members of the Same Family at Home on Emroy After Drug Investigation

Elmhurst police executed a search warrant at 460 N. Emroy Friday, Oct. 5, after an investigation into the alleged sale of illegal drugs from the residence. Seized from the house were 23 Adderall pills, cannabis, numerous items of drug paraphernalia and four firearms, police said.

Three residents of the home were arrested and charged:

  • A 17-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of fireworks and unlawful use of weapon.
  • Mario Cuomo, 19, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Dominick Cuomo, 45, was charged with possession of firearms without a firearm owner’s identification card.

The 17-year-old was taken to DuPage County Jail. Mario and Dominick Cuomo were released on bond.
