Police Arrest Man for Doing 78 in a 30, and Teens Picked Up for Entering Cars
The following arrest information was supplied by the Elmhurst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Domestic Battery
Luco B. Columbo, 25, 292 E. Fullerton Ave., Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with domestic battery. Police did not release the location. He was taken to duPage County Jail.

Cory J. Borucki, 21, 6355 N. Neward Ave. #1, Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and speeding more than 40 miles per hour over the limit after he was stopped for driving 78 mph in a 30 mph zone at North Avenue and York Street at 6:34 p.m. June 7. Police found loose cannabis in the center console of his Volkswagon GTI. He was released on bond and his vehicle towed.
Criminal Trespass

Jacob Johannesen, 18, 780 N. Willow, Elmhurst, and Matthew W. Aylward, 18, 749 Geneva, Elmhurst, were arrested and charged with criminal trespass to a motor vehicle and consumption of alcohol by a minor after an incident at 140 E. Lake St. at 12:43 a.m. June 8. Both Johannesen and Aylward were seen in the parking lot pulling on the door handles of vehicles and entering two vehicles. They reportedly ran away, but when they were apprehended, police reported they had dropped stolen Oakley sunglasses and a black, 80 GB iPod. In addition to the two charges both teens face, Johannesen also was charged with possession of cannabis. They were released on I-bonds.
