Elmhurst Police Arrest 30 Drivers for Revoked, Suspended, Nonexistent Licenses

Driving with a Revoked License

Jose L. Reyes, 34, 613 N. Roberta Ave., Northlake, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after his blue Chrysler PT Cruiser was involved in an accident at North and York at 7:49 a.m. Dec. 18. He was released on bond and his vehicle towed for forfeiture.

Driving With a Suspended License

Tarniesha S. Lindsey, 31, 1648 Weslet Ave. Apt. 1, Berwyn, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over a tan Suzuki XL7 for no rear registration plate light at North and York at 5:57 p.m. Dec. 13. Lindsey was released on bond.

Cornelius Donaghey, 45, 435 S. Park St., Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his Ford E250 for disobeying a traffic control device at Third and Glade at 5:26 p.m. Dec. 16. He was released on bond.

Eric Abud, 33, 3750 W. School St., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black BMW 325 CI for failure to dim headlights at Wrightwood and York at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 17. He also was charged with invalid registration and unlawful display of a registration sticker. He was released on bond.

Joseph J. Palos, 22, 74 West Dr., Northlake, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Ford Freestar for disobeying a traffic control device at North and Berteau at 4:17 p.m. Dec. 17. He was released on bond.

Cornelio Zaragoza, 21, 1621 Charleston, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and fleeing and eluding a peace officer after police pulled over his white Chevrolet Blazer at North and Melrose for disobeying a stop sign and no seat belt at 11:40 p.m. Dec. 20. He fled the scene and was later taken into custody on Elmhurst Avenue. A passenger in the vehicle, David Hernandez, 22, 911 N. 22nd St., Melrose Park, was charged with no seat belt and illegal transportation of alcohol. They both were released on bond.

Clara Nevarez-Soto, 48, 3029 N. Nashville, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over her red Volkswagon Jetta for speeding at Grand and David at 7:52 p.m. Dec. 22. She was released on bond.

Erica M. Hernandez, 22, 1328 S. 49th Court, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at York and Diversey at 1:37 a.m. Dec. 23. A passenger in the vehicle, Marcela F. Medina, 22, of the same address, was arrested and charged with felony possession of a license plate and registration sticker, and possession of cannabis. Hernandez was released on bond and Medina was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Victor T. Atallas, 22, 2000 Ovaltine Court Apt. 405, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his Volkswagon GTI for no front plate at Myrtle and North at 3:46 p.m. Dec. 24. He was released on bond.

John Dalla-Costa, 41, 10700 Avenue M. Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped his red Frieghtliner truck for expired registration at Monterey and St. Charles at 4:38 p.m. Dec. 26. He also was driving in a "no trucks" area, and the vehicle was overweight. He was released on bond.

Jose L. Ruiz, 23, 5220 W. Nelson Apt. 2, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a license suspended for DUI after police pulled over his white Chevrolet Express for speeding at Route 83 and North Avenue at 8:58 a.m. Dec. 27. He also was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Cook County. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Victor A. Koopman, 39, 2649 Elder Lane, Franklin Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white GMC Sonoma on Addison Avenue at 5:52 p.m. Dec. 27. 

Christian Iniguez, 28, 1351 Balmoral Ave. Apt. 25, Westchester, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Dodge pickup truck for no tail lights at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 7:19 p.m. Dec. 27. He was released on bond.

Juan Carillo, 19, 1227 S. Central, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his black Infiniti G35 for disobeying a traffic control device at North and Addison at 12:11 a.m. Dec. 28. He was released on bond.

Keith Wright, 20, 5021 Tod Ave., East Chicago, Ind., was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his Toyota Camry for no rear registration plate light and suspended registration at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 12:04 a.m. Dec. 29. He was released on bond.

Byambadorj Jargalsaikhan, 19, 41 58th St. Apt. 11C, Clarendon Hills, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled him over for speeding at Route 83 and North Avenue at 1:37 p.m. Dec. 30. He was released on bond.

Patrick Shaw, 30, 552 S. Fern, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after his green Mercedes-Benz E320 crashed into a tree at 117 E. Crescent at 12:40 a.m. Jan. 3. He was released on bond.

Driving Without a License

Jose Torres, 26, 8712 S. 87th Terrace, Justice, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after he was pulled over for one headlight at York and Columbia at 12:50 a.m. Dec. 5. He was released on bond.

Octavio Marin, 27, 7734 N. Artesian, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white GMC Safari for an unsecured rear door that was swinging open. He was released on bond.

Alberto Manriquez, 32, 2016 Sawyer Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after his white Nissan Altima was involved in an accident with a 61-year-old Elmhurst resident at North Avenue and Route 83 at 11:05 a.m. Dec. 8. 

Gonzalas Guttierrez, 33, 180 Lincoln, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Chevrolet Impala for disobeying a traffic signal at Lake and Grand at 3:16 p.m. Dec. 8. He was released on bond.

Melisa J. Estrada, 21, 129 N. Foley St., Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after her Honda Civic was involved in a traffic accident with a 36-year-old Westmont man at Route 83 and North Avenue at 2:33 p.m. Dec. 11. She was released on bond. 

Lucy Sanchez, 42, 1819 N. 33rd Ave., Stone Park, was arrested an charged with driving without a license after the vehicle she was driving in was involved in an accident with a 66-year-old Lindenhurst resident at York and Jackson at 4:31 p.m. Dec. 14.

Crystal Gales, 29, 2342 W. North Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her red Jeep Grand Cherokee for improper backing at York and Lake at 8:28 p.m. Dec. 14. She was released on bond.

Walter Alva, 26, 111 Gerry Steven Court Apt. 1B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver BMW 323i for expired registration at Grand and Entry at 6:03 p.m. Dec. 16. He was released on bond.

Enrique Chavira-Andrade, 22, 115 E. Division Apt. 202, Wood Dale, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white BMW 325 for speeding at York and Interstate 290 at 9:27 a.m. Dec. 18. He was released on bond.

Jose Luna-Cercado, 39, 1001 W. North Ave., Villa Park, was cited for driving without a license after his black Jaguar was involved in an accident with a 34-year-old Chicago resident at North and York at 11:26 p.m. Dec. 19.

Daniel F. Hurtado, 52, 2510 S. St. Louis, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his black Chevrolet Impala for one headlight at Diversey and York at 5:57 a.m. Dec. 22. He allegedly provided the officer with a false name and date of birth, and was also charged with obstructing identification. He was released on bond.

Adan Rodriguez, 28, 1643 S. Michigan Apt. 305, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving too fast for conditions after his black Ford SE was involved in an accident at 905 S. Riverside Drive at 7:19 p.m. Jan. 3. He was released on bond.

Jose Mendoza, 54, 644 S. York Road Spt. 109, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Acura MDX for expired registration at York and Grand at 1:14 p.m. Jan. 3. He was released on bond.
