Plano Man Arrested for Solicitation of a Child

The 16-year-old girl he thought he was going to have sex with turned out to be a police officer.

Deulberto Bahena, 29, 3207 Hoffman St., Plano, was arrested and charged with unlawful grooming of a child at 5:02 p.m. March 9.

After a series of online chats and phone conversations with a female officer posing as a 16-year-old girl, police said Bahena arrived at Elmhurst Terrace Apartments, 511 W. St. Charles Road, thinking he was meeting the girl for a sex act.

He was taken to DuPage County Jail, and his Chevy Silverado was towed and held for forfeiture.
