One of the Drivers in Sunday's Four-Car Crash was DUI, Police Say

Accident involved a Lombard police squad.

One of the drivers involved in a four-car accident at York and St. Charles roads on Sunday was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jaime Wallen, 22, 235 N. Broadview, Lombard, was driving a white Kia Optima when she was involved in the accident at 4:45 p.m.. Other vehicles involved were a Dodge Caravan, a Ford Crown Victoria driven by a Lombard Police officer, and an Oldsmobile Bravada.

Wallen was charged with two counts of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance. She was released on I-bond.
